Maddie

My daughter Maddie was hospitalized at the age of four due to H1N1 that developed into pneumonia. When we took her to the ER, we went to our closest hospital, not a pediatric hospital where I feel time was wasted as they were not equipped to handle her case. Luckily, she was transferred to Mount Sinai, had a surgery to drain her lung, spent weeks in the hospital but is now a healthy 10 year old. It was the scariest time of my life and my heart goes out to you and the thousands that have suffered from losing a child. Your foundation strikes a chord with me and I am honored to help!
