Emergency services are absolutely critical during a disaster. Emergency Departments at the hospitals in the hardest hit areas are at full capacity, trying to absorb additional patients with limited staffing and supplies. Many families have been stranded during the storm and are only now able to visit (already overwhelmed) Emergency Rooms. And because of that huge delay of care, health issues have grown more acute — especially those related to children.
We are working with Staten Island University Hospital and Meridian Health Systems, near the Jersey Shore, in these hardest hit areas to help to replenish pediatric supplies, equipment, and to deal with the impact of understaffing. If you would like to help, we hope you will consider a donation of $10, $25, $50 or $100 so that R Baby can help these hospitals care for their smallest and most vulnerable patients. 100% of your donation will go to those Emergency Departments facing the greatest challenges and to the care of babies and children.
